Blood Borne Pathogens

Course is offered as a blended learning format and as an instructor led (in class) format.

OSHA's Bloodborn Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030) requires employers to provide information and training to workers on initial assignment and at least annually thereafter for those individuals who may come in contact with bloodborne pathogens.

 

This course is designed for anyone with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as:

  • Correctional Officers
  • Childcare workers
  • Security guards
  • Maintenance workers
  • School personnel
  • Hotel housekeepers
  • Health and fitness club staff
  • Tattoo artists


This training uses the recent American Heart Association guidelines


Course length: 1- 1.5 hours


Student Materials: Blood Borne Pathogens student manual is an additional fee.


Written/Skills Exam: Required for completion card.


Course completion card:valid for 1 year.

We can teach up to 15 of your staff onsite or the course can be taught at our location.
