NURSING ASSISTANT

What is a CNA?

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of the healthcare team, known for providing essential and intimate care to patients in various medical settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities. CNAs are responsible for assisting patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. They play a crucial role in monitoring patients’ vital signs and reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff. Working under the direct supervision of licensed nursing professionals, CNAs ensure that patient care is delivered efficiently and compassionately. Their work not only supports the medical staff but also enhances the quality of life for patients by offering comfort and dignity during their care.
