$ Prime Time Medical Training's Nursing Assistant program is approved by the Minnesota Department of Health. The program is a flexible 4-7 week program designed to prepare students to become safe and competent nursing assistants. There are day and evening class options available to fit our students' needs. As a nursing assistant in our program you will learn the importance of implementing mindful care giving using a wholistic approach.
WHY BECOME A CNA?
Becoming a certified nursing assistant is a great pathway into any healthcare career, most nursing and medical schools require this certification/hands on care giving experience prior to acceptance into their programs.

Upon successful completion of the nursing assistant program, students will receive a program completion certificate which will serve as their ticket to ride for state testing. With this program completion certificate, students will then be eligible to take the state competency evaluation exam. Upon passing, the student will then be placed on the state Nurse Aide registry.
CNA/HHA PROGRAM COST $899
A non-refundable application fee of $50 and a $200 deposit is due at the time of application approval. $100 of the $200 deposit is non-refundable. This is paid once student meets acceptance criteria and accepts their seat in the selected cohort. The student has 7 days to pay their deposit once application approval or they forfeit their seat in the desired cohort.
Payment plans are available and a separate form is submitted for those that want to pay using a payment plan.

WE OFFER SMALL CLASS SIZES TO HELP CATER TO THE LEARNING NEEDS OF OUR STUDENTS AND TO HELP FACILITATE A BETTER LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
Attend our 4 hour skills review course and learn all 22 skills. For the state exam you will be tested on 5 randomly selected skills. The skills overview training will be under the direction of a licensed nurse.
*Disclaimer: There is no certification given at end of class. Students must study outside of review course in order to be successful at challenging the test.
Have two signed forms of identification, register for your testing date at a local testing site.
Candidate must be at least 16 years old to become a CNA.
Once you pass both your written and skills tests, you will then be placed on the registry. To remain on the registry, students must work the duties of a CNA for at least 8 hours within a 24 months period.
